Winefest Industry & Trade Information

Qualified hotel, restaurant and liquor store personnel were invited to attend the 2020 Winefest Private Industry & Trade Tasting Sessions for an opportunity to sip and sample while networking with key industry contacts. Each industry member was permitted to bring one guest and required to bring two business cards and photo identification to be admitted to the session.

Rosé? Hooray! In 2020, Winefest was thrilled to introduce a highly anticipated rosé feature. With over 60 different rosés from sweet, dry, to sparkling, there is a rosé for all.

Upon arrival, all trade:

  • Sampled from an all-inclusive selection of local and international white, red, port, sparkling and dessert wines
  • Sipped exclusive products only available at the Private Industry & Trade Session

  • Met local wine agents and winery representatives
  • Networked with key industry contacts
  • Had the chance to win exciting door prizes, including a $100 gift card to Nando‚Äôs Peri-Peri Chicken,, along with four tickets to the Saturday Afternoon session of the 2020 Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival and $75 in sampling coupons, courtesy of Connect Logistics or two Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort Weekday Lift Passes

Giving Back

All guests were encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or monetary donation for the Calgary and Edmonton Food Bank.

Winefest once again made every donation go further by contributing $1 for every pound of food donated. This year, Winefest raised $2752 and collected 648 pounds of food between both cities!
